A resin set of detail accessories in 1:35 scale from PANZER ART. It is NOT a tank model but a set of replacement road wheels with burnt-out, damaged rubber tires, the so-called burn out wheels, meant to improve a model of the German Pz.Kpfw II light tank in the Ausf. C and F versions. The castings are supplied unpainted.
Wheels with burnt rubber capture the state in which the rubber tires of the road wheels had been damaged by fire or by long service. They replace the original plastic parts in the base kit and give the model a realistic, worn look that suits dioramas with wrecks or damaged vehicles.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and test fit them against the running gear. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. For the effect of burnt rubber, dark, cracked tones completed with pigments and washes work well; it is best to finish the wheels before the running gear is closed up and fitted.
This is an additional set, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unpainted, without paints or glue, unless stated otherwise.
