Aircraft technician figures in 1:32 scale, set number 9 are two 3D printed figures from Temp Models. They capture the ground personnel, not the flight crew.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings two 3D printed figures of Russian Air Force aircraft technicians in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. The number of pieces is part of the designation of the set, so it is certain. The figures capture the ground personnel at work by an aircraft. It is not a model of an aircraft but the crew to go with one.
A pair of technicians is the most natural arrangement on an apron: a number of tasks simply cannot be managed by one person, whether it is handling the panels, replenishing or checking the landing gear. A pair moreover creates a relationship between the figures, which helps a diorama more than two figures standing on their own. Technicians do not wear flight equipment but working clothes and hearing protection.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Paint the figures in layers from the base tone toward the light edges, and leave the face and the hands for last.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
