Figures of aircraft technicians in 1:72 scale, set number 1 are 3D-printed figures from Temp Models. Ground crew, not pilots.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Russian Air Force ground crew in 1:72 scale from Temp Models, carried as set number 1. They are not pilots but technicians, the people who move around the machine on the ground. It is not an aircraft model but figures that give a diorama its action and its sense of scale.
Ground personnel are more numerous at an airfield than flight personnel and their work is visible from morning till evening. The technicians check systems, top up fluids, load armament and prepare a machine for its next flight. They work in overalls without protective gear, which makes them clearly distinguishable figures on a model. It is precisely the contrast between a technician in overalls and a pilot in full gear that gives a diorama its legibility.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. Overalls suit a faded shade and oil stains, so that a figure does not look freshly changed.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
