Gunze Mr.Color Spray S008 Silver (Metallic)

Mr.Color Spray S008 Silver from the manufacturer Gunze is a metallic lacquer aerosol of 40 ml with a fine metal pigment that gives the surface the look of bare polished metal. It is the spray version of the Mr.Color paints, a ready-made coat without an airbrush and without thinning. Beware: it is a lacquer, not an acrylic, and its solvent can attack sensitive plastic.

Use

• Before spraying, shake the can thoroughly for 1 to 2 minutes, because the metal pigment settles at the bottom and has to be mixed in.
• Apply a metallic to a smooth, ideally glossy base; on a matte surface it will lose its metallic sheen.
• Spray evenly and thinly from a distance of about 25 cm, because on a metallic unevenness and patches show up more than on opaque paints.
• A metallic is harder to overspray and to mask, so apply it at the end of the painting.
• Ideal for bare metal, aluminum surfaces, exhausts and wheels; silver also makes a base under so-called candy (clear tinting) paints.
