Mr.Color Spray S041 from the manufacturer Gunze is a matte lacquer aerosol with a volume of 40 ml in the red-brown shade known as Rotbraun. It is the spray version of the Mr.Color paints, a ready coat without an airbrush and without thinning. Note: it is a lacquer, not an acrylic paint - the solvent may attack sensitive plastic.
Rotbraun is one of the three tones of late German tank camouflage - patches of green and of precisely this red-brown were applied over the yellow-sand base of Dunkelgelb. The shade also suits a base for rust under pigment and oil effects of corrosion. The flat finish matches real vehicles and makes an ideal base under weathering - dust, mud, washes and pigments hold better on a matte surface.
For modelers building German armored vehicles in late camouflage and for creating corrosion effects, who want to apply a red-brown quickly without an airbrush.
