A base with a runway surface in 1:32 scale is a 3D printed accessory from Temp Models. It is not a model of an aircraft but a surface to go under a finished model.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings a 3D printed base with the relief of a runway in 1:32 scale from Temp Models. It is not a model of an aircraft but the surface on which you stand a model. Against the slab variant the runway surface is smoother and carries the gaps and the markings typical of a paved runway.
A paved runway is built from concrete slabs separated by expansion joints, which let the surface work in heat as well as in frost. On the surface there are markings: the centerline, the threshold stripes and the heading numbers. Rubber from tires gradually bakes into the concrete at the touchdown zone and darkens the surface there markedly, which is apparent at once in photographs and is worth imitating on a model.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Ground equipment is brought to life by a dark wash run into the recesses and by drybrushing on the edges.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
