Pilot figures with an emergency kit, set No. 15, 1:48 is a set of resin figures of Russian Air Force pilots with survival gear and an emergency kit, in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds resin figures of Russian Aerospace Forces pilots with survival gear and a portable emergency kit, in 1:48 scale. It follows on from set number 14 and offers further poses, so the two can be combined into a scene with more people in it. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for one.
Getting ready for a combat sortie means that the pilot puts on a flight suit, a pressure suit, a vest and survival gear with the emergency kit pouch. The whole rig is bulky and heavy, so walking in it looks different from walking in an ordinary uniform, and that is exactly what a well-made figure captures. Several sets from one line make it possible to build a group without repeating poses. The scene gains in credibility.
Wash the 3D-printed figures in warm soapy water and cut the print supports away with a sharp blade, carefully around the fingers and the gear. Sand them with respiratory protection and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a thin primer as the base, paint the faces and hands with a brush and lighten the shades step by step, and finish the flight suit with a dark wash in the folds. Add gloss varnish to the helmet and the visor.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
