It is not an opaque color but a primer: an intermediate layer between bare material and paint. Its main job is adhesion. Injection-molded plastic, resin, an etched brass part and a turned metal barrel each have a different surface energy, and without a primer paint sits on them unevenly — in one place it holds, in another it peels off at the first masking. A primer evens that out and gives the surface a uniform dark bronze green tone as well. The bottle holds 60 ml.
