A colored primer saves work: it serves as an undercoat that evens the surface out and ensures adhesion, and at the same time it already carries the shade, so a thinner covering coat over it is enough. This one comes in a matte form and in olive green, that is in the basic tone of American military hardware. The binder is acrylic. The spray can holds 400 milliliters and it holds on plastic, resin and metal.
Degrease the parts first; with resin, wash them in water with detergent. Shake the can for at least a minute before use and hold it roughly twenty centimeters from the surface. Apply several thin coats instead of one heavy one, otherwise the primer will flood the fine detail. According to the manufacturer the surface is dry to the touch in about a quarter of an hour and fully dry in about three quarters of an hour, but before masking it is better to wait longer. Spray in a ventilated area and protect your airways.
The can contains a flammable charge under pressure. Work in a ventilated area, away from sources of fire, protect your airways and keep the can out of the reach of children.
