USAF Navy Grey Fighters Solution Box is a complete set of paints, effects and tools from AMMO of Mig Jimenez for the gray schemes of American fighters.
Responsibility details are not available.
An extensive set from the Spanish maker AMMO of Mig Jimenez, put together so as to cover the whole process of painting and weathering the gray schemes of American fighter aircraft. It contains over twenty items: acrylic gray shades, a white primer, washes for the engraved lines, liquid effects, pigments, both a gloss and a matte overcoat, thinner and three brushes. An instruction publication with step-by-step procedures is included.
The set mixes two chemistries. The acrylic paints are thinned with water or with acrylic thinner, while the washes and the liquid effects are solvent-based and are thinned with the enclosed odorless thinner. Before each step, therefore, read the label of the particular bottle. The instruction publication is issued in four languages, and Czech is not among them.
For modelers of modern American fighters who want to have the whole process together in one place, and for those who are only now getting to the gray low-visibility schemes.
Some of the products contain organic solvents. Work with ventilation, away from open flame, and do not inhale the pigments.
