The real subject

The F-16D Block 30 is the two-seat variant of the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter. The second seat behind the pilot shifted the cockpit and its canopy and changed the fuselage spine behind it, so the two-seat version can be told from the single-seater at first glance. It is precisely the glazed cockpit that is the most watched place on a model of this aircraft.

Building tips

Before you start gluing, go through the instructions in full and compare them with the state of the part-built model. On aircraft the accessories are mostly fitted early, into fuselage halves that have not yet been joined, so a step discovered too late means taking things apart. Try every part dry first; where it is to replace an element from the kit, remove the original shape first and level the area. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts given in the instructions and apply it in minute drops, so that it does not run onto the visible surfaces. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage.
