An item with no further specification

The goods are ordered on their own. The further specification, that is the scale, the form and which type of model it relates to, is not stated here. That is what tells you whether the item suits a project you have under way or whether you are buying it to put aside for later.

Storage and handling

Small modeling goods last longest in their original packaging. Store them dry, at room temperature and out of direct sun; heat and damp harm glues, paints and thin parts just as reliably. The packaging also protects small pieces from being lost, which with small items tends to be the most common reason why nothing from them ends up on the model in the end. The goods do not belong in the hands of small children and it is better to keep them away from sources of heat.

After the shipment arrives

• Check the packaging and the contents right after delivery, not at the moment you come to need the item.
• Read any instruction sheet enclosed before you open or separate anything.
• Tip small parts out over a mat or over a work surface, not over a carpet.
• Close an opened package again and put it back into the original packaging.
• Do not throw offcuts and leftovers away straight away, plenty of them come in useful in a build, from fillers to paint tests.

What the delivery contains

The item itself is supplied in the manufacturer's packaging. The model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
