Fine gravel size 00 blue is a fine gravel scatter from Amazing Art in a blue shade and the finest grain size, 00. It is a colored material for stylized scenes and bases.
Responsibility details are not available.
A loose scenic material in the fine fraction that the brand designates with the grade 00 - the finest it carries. Unlike the earth shades, this scatter is colored, that is not an imitation of natural stone. Blue will therefore be of no use on a field track, but it will be where a surface is meant to be stylized or striking: bases for gaming figures and busts, fantasy and space scenes, crystalline growths, a frozen plain or mock-ups with zones set apart by color. The brand carries the same fraction in green and red as well, so the colors can be combined. The weight of the package is not stated by the manufacturer.
Brush the base with thinned PVA glue, sprinkle the scatter on and tap the excess off once it is dry. With colored scatters it is sensible to leave out a wash and pigments - they cloud the shade and the blue loses the very thing you chose it for. When the surface is meant to shine like ice, go over it once dry with a gloss varnish or a clear resin layer.
For those who paint figures and busts and want to break a base out of the earth shades, and for builders of stylized scenes where color is used on purpose.
This is a loose material - do not breathe the dust in, work out of a draft and store it out of the reach of small children.
