This is a set of fine resin flat head rivets 1.5 mm in diameter, meant for 1:35 scale. The rivets are small separate parts cast on a common casting frame, from which they are cut off carefully. They serve to restore or add riveted joints on armor plate, tanks, bridge elements and other surfaces where injection-molded plastic lacks the detail or where it was sanded away during reworking.

Use

• Cut the rivet off the casting block with a sharp knife or a file.
• Drill a shallow hole in the surface at the spacing of the subject and glue the rivet in with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Mark regular spacings out beforehand or use a template, so that a row of rivets looks machine-accurate.
• Once dry, the area can be sprayed over with a base color and with an airbrush without any loss of the sharpness of the detail.

Who the set is for

It will be appreciated by more advanced modelers of vehicles, guns and equipment who want to raise the realism of surfaces beyond what the base kit offers. Working with small resin parts calls for tweezers, patience and respiratory protection while sanding.

This is an accessory set of parts, not a model kit. Glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
