A collector figure of Jerry the mouse from the Fluffy Puffy line of the Bandai brand. It is not a kit or a model: the figure is finished and painted from the factory, so there is no gluing, filling or spraying. The Fluffy Puffy line builds on simplified, softly rounded shapes, thanks to which the character reads more as a plush toy than as an exact statuette. You therefore need no modeling equipment to buy it, only room on a shelf.
Jerry is the mouse from the American cartoon series Tom and Jerry, created for the MGM studio by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The first episode was screened in 1940 and an idea about a cat and mouse chase grew into one of the most successful animated series of all. The short stories collected several Academy Awards and are still broadcast around the world today. In them Jerry tends to be the smaller and more inventive one: he does not win by strength but by an idea, by timing and by the ability to turn the cat own traps against him. That is exactly why he became a character that even a viewer who never followed the series regularly will recognize.
Place it out of direct sunlight, because long exposure does rich colors no good. Dust is best removed with a soft brush, and a damp cloth does not belong on fine detail. If you carry the figure, hold it by the body, not by the thinner protruding parts.
