A fine foliage in blended shades of forest green, a package with a volume of 945 cm³. Material for undergrowth, low bushes and the leafing of branches.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation Forest Blend means that the package holds not a single tone but a mixed blend of several green shades supplemented by the color of dried leaves. That is truly how a real forest looks: young shoots shine, older leaves darken and brown patches are left between the branches. The randomness of the colors separates believable scenery from a green carpet, so the blended variant suits everywhere growth is meant to come across as full-grown and unkempt.
The mass takes the form of a flexible textured wadding onto which colored granulate is applied. It is torn with the fingers into clumps of any size, so a flat carpet as well as a small tuft for a rockery arises from one package. A volume of 945 cm³ is enough for a more extensive area, and with a smaller display case perfectly enough for several projects one after another. The texture is on the finer side, so it suits low greenery rather than the crowns of grown trees.
The base is coated with PVA glue thinned with water, the mass is lightly pressed on and once it has dried the excess is poured back. Density is achieved by layering: first a thin lower layer, after drying a second one only where the growth is meant to thicken. Into the shadows it helps to add a darker single-color foliage, into the foreground a lighter one on the contrary. In the package there is only the plant mass, glue and a baseboard are not part of it.
A blended mix must not be applied at the same density everywhere. When it is spread evenly, the very irregularity it is bought for is lost from it. It looks best where denser islands alternate with thinned-out places, between which the terrain shows.
