About product

German Tanks Set - AMMO set of paints and effects

A starter set from AMMO (Mig Jimenez) for painting and basic weathering of German vehicles in the popular Dunkelgelb (dark yellow) shade used in the Second World War. The set combines an opaque base paint with effects for bringing out detail and for grime. It contains an acrylic base paint (water-thinnable) and two enamel-based (solvent-based) effects - different chemistries, so thin each with its own thinner and do not mix them with one another.

Use

  • Spraying the dark yellow base paint with an airbrush or a brush (acrylic, thinned with water or acrylic thinner)
  • A brown wash to bring out the rivets and recesses, which runs into the detail (enamel)
  • A running-grime effect for convincing dirt on the hull sides (enamel)
  • Suitable for tanks and armored vehicles in the Dunkelgelb shade

Who the set is for

For modelers of armored vehicles who want a complete basis for both the paint and the weathering of German vehicles in the Dunkelgelb shade in one place.

The enamel effects are flammable and are thinned with thinner, not with water. Work in a well-ventilated space, protect your airways and store out of the reach of children.
