Glow in the Dark - TIME ORANGE is a phosphorescent Green Stuff World pigment in an orange version. Once charged with light it glows in the dark by itself, so it suits lighting effects on models, figures and gaming accessories.

A pigment from the Glow in the Dark series by Green Stuff World. It works on the principle of phosphorescence: the material absorbs light, stores its energy and then gradually gives it back in the dark as a faint glow. It is therefore not electronics and not a battery, and no power supply is needed; it is enough to charge it with strong enough light. The TIME ORANGE shade is the orange member of a line that also includes green, turquoise and blue variants.
Phosphorescent materials glow more brightly the lighter the surface beneath them. A white or light gray base will therefore help a great deal; on black the effect is lost. Let the surface charge before you display it, ideally with a strong lamp or daylight for several minutes. The glow is always only an afterglow, not a permanent light, so it gradually weakens and is best seen in complete darkness rather than in half-light. The effect can be strengthened with several layers and, conversely, toned down with a thin application.
For modelers and players who want to light a detail on a model optically, without drilling, wires and diodes. It will be appreciated by creators of science fiction and fantasy scenes and by people who build gaming terrain and accessories.
