Gravel And Sand Fixer from AK Interactive is a liquid fixer (an adhesive medium) intended for consolidating loose material such as gravel, sand or grit on the base of a diorama. You pour the material into the shape you want and then saturate it with the fixer, which bonds it firmly to the surface.

Use

• Spread the loose material on the base and apply the fixer with a brush or an airbrush so that it saturates the material.
• The fixer wicks quickly and is absorbed into sand and small stones, so the consolidation is more effective than with classic PVA glue (white glue).
• Once dry it is matte and leaves no artificial glossy film; any slight satin cast on smooth areas can be subdued with a matte varnish.
• Drying can be speeded up with a hairdryer or another source of heat.
• Tools and any overflow are easy to clean with alcohol.
