Gravel fine brown is a fine brown gravel scatter from Amazing Art in a 200 g package. It suits field tracks, earth terrain and figure bases.
Responsibility details are not available.
A loose scenic material of natural minerals, a fine fraction in a brown shade. The package holds 200 g, which on smaller dioramas is a supply for more than one build. The grain is not uniform, so the surface looks more natural than sifted sand of a single size. Brown belongs among the colors most often used on a diorama - field and forest tracks, wheel ruts, the edges of ditches and the earth between grass tufts. It is neither a paint nor a paste, but a loose granulate.
Brush the area with thinned PVA glue or with acrylic varnish, sprinkle the scatter on and tap the excess off once it is dry. A second dose of glue dripped on from above bonds the grains to each other as well, so they do not flake off. The shade can be shifted with a wash or with dry pigment, so the same scatter serves for dry as well as waterlogged tracks. A supply of 200 g lasts even for a trial on a scrap piece, which pays off with loose materials.
For builders of dioramas and vignettes, for collectors of figures with bases of their own and for model railroaders looking for a brown earth shade in a larger package.
This is a loose material - do not breathe the dust in, work out of a draft and store it out of the reach of small children.
