A gray styrene (polystyrene) sheet from Plastruct, 1.5 mm thick and 175 x 300 mm in size. It is a modeling semi-finished product, not a kit. A flat sheet serves as the starting material for walls, floors, decks, diorama bases and flat parts for conversions and scratch-building.
Score the sheet with a sharp knife and snap it, then true the edges up by sanding. It is glued with ordinary cement for polystyrene or with super glue. The material can be painted like plastic models, best with a primer coat before the finish.
