Tamiya Hard Coated File PRO (flat, 6 mm width)

A precision modeling file from the PRO range with a flat steel blade 6 mm wide and about 165 mm long. The blade has a hard surface coating that is markedly more durable than ordinary files and resists rapid blunting. The coating at the same time stops the teeth clogging with removed material. The file copes with plastic and with metal parts and is fitted with a non-slip handle and a protective case.

Use

• Use it to level parting seams, to remove the remains of sprue gates and to shape parts.
• File by drawing in one direction with light pressure, so that the surface stays smooth.
• Clean the teeth with a brush from time to time, even though the coating markedly limits clogging.
• After work, put the file back in its case, so that the blade is not damaged.
