HEAVY MUDDY SET

Heavy Muddy Set from AK interactive

A weathering set intended for creating heavy, bulky deposits of mud and earth on models of military and civilian vehicles. The package combines three enamel effects, a fine pigment and plaster powder, with which you can mix a thick mud paste and finer dusting alike. It is not a paint for a base coat and not a kit, but an accessory for weathering a finished, painted model.

Use

• Heavy deposits of mud on the lower areas of the hull, the running gear, the tracks and the wheels.
• Adding plaster powder gives a bulking paste for relief mud and clods stuck on.
• The effects are applied with a brush or a spatula, and any excess can be softened with a brush moistened in thinner.
• Ideal for vehicles from muddy ground, for example the spring thaw, field tracks or the Eastern Front.

Who the set is for

For modelers of military vehicles and dioramas who want to dirty the running gear realistically. It works best on a surface given a gloss or satin clear coat beforehand.

The enamel effects and the pigment are thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits; work in a well-ventilated space. The pigment is a fine powder, so do not breathe it in.
