An acrylic stand from the Ichibansho line with the motif of the machine designated Eva Kai-08y from the world of Evangelion.
Responsibility details are not available.
Evangelion is a Japanese series about giant machines meant to defend mankind against attackers, machines steered by young pilots joined to them almost physically. Its fame, however, did not come from the fights but from the way the weight such a task puts on the pilots opens up beneath them. The machines themselves have characteristic slender shapes and bold areas of color, so they work as a purely graphic motif as well. The designation Eva Kai-08y belongs to one of them.
This is an acrylic stand from the Ichibansho line, that is a collector item for display, not a kit or a part for a model. The subtitle Operation Started belongs to the wave in which the line was issued; seven items with different motifs appear under it. For the size, the thickness and the exact finish of the stand, what the box carries is binding.
Acrylic scratches easily, so wipe the stand with a soft cloth and without pressure, and above all do not wipe it dry over grains of dust. Agents with a solvent dull the surface and may damage the printing, so avoid them entirely. Direct sunlight does the colors no good here either. Stand it in a level place where nobody will knock into it, because a flat piece tips over more easily than a figure.
It suits anyone who wants to stand a motif from a favorite series on a desk or a shelf and does not want to take on building a model. It also collects well in several pieces from one wave. A display case and other decoration for display are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
