Size No. 0 is one step larger than No. 00; it suits medium-sized detail and smaller continuous facets, where you want an accurate point but also more paint in a single stroke. Once wetted, the round shape draws into a tip and carries a confident line or a dot.
For modelers who want an all-purpose small brush, finer than a No. 1 but with a greater paint capacity than the smallest zeros. A good round brush holds its point even after many strokes, while a poor one splays and you will not do accurate detail with it. That is the main difference between a brand-name brush and a low-quality one.
Maintenance: wash the brush immediately after the work (acrylic with water, enamel and lacquers with thinner), do not let paint dry at the ferrule and dry it point up or lying flat, never point down in a jar, as that would deform it. Paints and thinners are not included in the package.
