Italeri - round brush, size no. 10/0

An extremely small synthetic round brush from the Italian brand Italeri. The designation ten zeros (10/0) is among the finest brushes there are: the tip tapers to a microscopic point for the very smallest work. The pupils in the eye of a figure, microscopic lettering, individual rivets or hairline strokes.

Use

• The finest detail: pupils, eye lines and eyebrows on figures.
• Microscopic lettering and markings.
• Individual rivets, small dots and specks.
• Acrylic and enamel paints (well thinned).

Who it is for

For figure painters and detailers who go for maximum detail. Count on the fact, though, that a brush this small takes up only a little paint, so the paint has to be thinned and reloaded often. In return it offers a precision a larger brush cannot manage. For that to work, the tip has to hold its point; a poorly made brush in this size will splay out and is pointless.

Maintenance: wash the brush immediately after work (acrylic with water, enamel and lacquers with thinner), do not let paint dry at the ferrule and dry it with the tip up or lying flat, never tip down in a jar, where it would be deformed. Paints and thinners are not included in the package.
