A very small round brush with synthetic hair and a fine point from Italeri. The designation 000 is among the smallest sizes there are: the hair draws into a point for the very finest work, where fractions of a millimeter matter.
Above all for figure painters and detail specialists, a different technique and a different aim from flat brushes. While a flat brush covers areas and does drybrushing, a round point paints dots and lines. At such a small size the quality of the hair is essential: a good brush holds a sharp point, while a poor one loses it and sheds hairs, so that accurate work becomes impossible.
Wash the brush immediately after the work (acrylic with water, enamel and lacquer with the appropriate thinner) and do not press the fine point down hard. Never let paint dry at the ferrule, because with such a small brush that ruins it at once.
