A rigid sanding plate with a large working surface and an abrasive layer of 400 grit. Thanks to its flat and firm base it sands a surface genuinely flat, without the waviness that comes from sanding with loose abrasive held in the hand.

• Leveling larger flat parts and the joints of hulls or armor plates.
• Removing the remains of gates and sanding down mold seams.
• Coarser leveling of a surface before finer sanding.
• Preparing a surface before filling and painting.

Who it is for

For modelers who need flat surfaces without waviness, above all on larger parts of aircraft, vehicles and ships. The 400 grit serves for the coarser stage of sanding, which is followed by finer grits.

Sanding creates dust, so work with respiratory protection and wet-sand the surface as needed.
