A kit of the LBX robot designated Achilles from the Japanese series Little Battlers eXperience. The number of parts and the height are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation LBX stands for the small battle robots of the Japanese series Little Battlers eXperience. In the story they are a toy that has come alive as a sport: opponents send their own machines into an arena, and the winner is the one who has built and armed his robot better. Achilles is one of the machines in this line, and its name points to the knightly look the series favors for its heroes.
This is a plastic robot kit. How many parts the package holds, how tall the finished robot will be, how far the parts are pre-colored and whether weapons or a shield are included are given in the manufacturer's instructions. No scale is given for this line; the robots are built at the size set by the model range.
Separate the parts with sprue cutters a little away from the part and level the remaining stub with a sharp blade, then sand it lightly; on colored plastic the pale mark left by the cutters shows clearly. Put the smaller parts in a dish as you work so they do not roll away. Test-fit the assembly dry beforehand and watch which parts end up hidden inside once everything is together; paint those before you cover them.
It suits fans of the series as well as modelers looking for a smaller robot build with no great demands on painting. It also serves well as a first robot model for a younger builder, because it can be started without glue and without an airbrush. Paints, glue and a display case are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; the exact contents of the package are not stated here.
