LBX are the small battle robots of the Japanese series Little Battlers eXperience, in which opponents send their own machines into an arena. Destroyer is one of the machines in this line. The robots in the show differ in the build of their bodies and in their armament, and it is precisely that variety that makes collecting them rewarding: standing side by side in a display case, each one looks different.
This is a plastic robot kit. The number of parts, the height of the finished model, how far the parts are pre-colored and whether weapons and other accessories are included are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The line is released without a scale, so the size is set by the model range rather than calculated from a real subject.
Robot builds look best when the surface detail is brought out. After assembly carefully run a fine point along the panel lines and fill them with a dark shade applied as thinned paint; wipe the excess away before it dries. Level the edges of the parts after separation with a sharp blade and sand them lightly, because the pale mark shows most on dark plastic. If you decide to paint, apply the color in thin coats so it does not fill the fine surface detail.
Fans of the series will appreciate it, as will modelers who want to try a robot build in a smaller format. Paints, glue and a display case are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise; the exact contents of the package are not stated here.
