A plastic kit of the LBX battle robot named Ifrit. The model is supplied unglued and unpainted and is assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The abbreviation LBX denotes a range of kits of small battle robots that come from a Japanese game and series subject. The robots in it appear as miniature fighters and the individual models carry names of their own; this one is called Ifrit. It is a separate range with its own world and its own terminology, not an offshoot of another robot brand.
This is an unglued and unpainted plastic kit. No scale is stated for this range; the models are designed to a uniform size so that they stand beside one another in the correct relative proportion. The extent of the package, the number of parts and the height of the finished model are given in the manufacturer's instructions and on the box.
Separate the parts with nippers a little away from the part and sand the remainder so that no light stress mark is left on the edge. If the plastic is already in color, the model can be left without a finish and merely accented with a dark glaze in the gaps, which brings the intricate surface out. For painting the whole model, apply an undercoat first, otherwise the finish rubs off smooth plastic easily. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the paint manufacturer's directions on the bottle.
The model will be appreciated by collectors of Japanese robot ranges as well as by modelers looking for a shorter build with a striking result and happy to invent their own color treatment for it. Before building, it pays to go through the instructions in full so that it is clear which parts belong together. Paints, glue and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
