Aber Letters and Numbers (1.5 mm high) is an etched brass set of letters and numerals 1.5 mm high, intended for creating markings, numbers and labels on models and in dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds finely etched brass letters and numerals of a uniform height of 1.5 mm, arranged on a common fret. These are neither decals nor stickers - they are real raised characters that are nipped off the fret and glued onto the model. Thanks to that, the marking has real thickness, casts a shadow and, once painted, looks like cast or riveted text rather than like print. They are made by the Polish firm Aber, which specializes in photo-etched accessories for plastic models. The set is not tied to one scale - what decides is how large a marking you need on your model.
On maker's and type plates, vehicle numbers, labels of instruments and controls, markings on crates, signs and directional markings in dioramas, but also on the nameplates of ships and the designations of machines. A height of 1.5 mm corresponds in 1:35 scale to a marking roughly 5 cm high, which is a typical size for more prominent markings.
For more advanced modelers and diorama builders who work with tweezers and fine photo-etched parts. The work calls for patience and good lighting, but the result belongs among the details that everyone notices.
Very small parts - keep out of the reach of children under three, there is a risk of swallowing. The etched edges are sharp. Cyanoacrylate glue is irritating and bonds skin, so use it carefully and ventilate.
