Light orange Playmarker marker

A marker from the Playmarker line in a light orange shade. The tip applies the paint directly, so there is no brush, no palette and no shade to mix. It pays off most on small areas and narrow elements, where preparing the paint would take longer than painting itself, and on short touch-ups on an otherwise finished model.

What the color is for

Light orange is a color that catches the eye on a model. It is used on warning and rescue elements, on vests, cones and beacons, on the orange parts of equipment and tools and on small accessories of figures. It is also rewarding for light and fire effects, where it forms the transition between a yellow center and a darker orange or red at the edge. In a diorama it brings crates, markings and plastic parts of equipment to life.

Application tips

• Try the shade on a piece of scrap plastic or on a hidden spot on the model first.
• Wash and degrease the area before painting so that the stroke does not break up.
• Apply thin coats and let them dry; a second pass deepens the shade.
• For transitions work from the lighter color to the darker one and break up the boundary gently with short strokes.
• Wipe the tip now and then so that it does not pick up paint from areas already done.
• For getting started, thinning and cleaning, follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.

A marker in the stated shade is supplied. The model, figures, other shades and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep the marker out of the reach of children.
