LIVING ROOM ACCESSORIES 30-35MM SCALE

Living Room Accessories 30-35 mm from AK interactive

The Living Room Accessories set from the Spanish brand AK interactive is a scenic accessory, not a model kit. It brings the fittings of a living interior, that is, the layer of detail that turns four walls into a home and a scene into a story. The figure of 30 to 35 mm is the size standard of figure games matching the approximate height of a figure; it is not a modeling scale written with a colon.

Where the accessory comes into its own

A living interior is a rewarding theme precisely because everyone knows it. A wrecked living room in a ruin tells of the civilian cost of a conflict, while a well-preserved interior gives a quiet civilian scene scale and context. The accessories suit a cutaway section of a building, a base under a single figure and a display-case diorama where the viewer will see them close up.

Use and painting

• Wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap and let them dry thoroughly.
• Apply a thin coat of primer so that the paint holds on the smooth surfaces.
• Bring the fabric parts of the furniture out matte and the wood and glass, by contrast, with a higher gloss; the contrast enlivens the scene.
• Super glue or two-part epoxy will handle seating them in the interior.
• Dust in the corners and fine scuffs on the edges will turn clean fittings into a lived-in space.

Who the set is for

For diorama builders and players of figure games who build interiors and want to fill them with ready-made fittings instead of laborious work piece by piece. It is simple to use and does not call for experience of assembling structural units.

Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
