Liquid Rubbing Compound, Grit 2000

A liquid abrasive and polishing compound with a fine aluminum-oxide abrasive at grit 2000. It is used to smooth and polish a surface after sanding, for example on clear parts, varnishes and smooth areas. Grit 2000 is the coarsest in this line and is used as the first polishing step.

Use

  • Apply a small amount to a sponge or cloth and polish the area.
  • Suitable for clear parts, painted and smooth surfaces.
  • Can be used by hand or with a polishing attachment on a rotary tool.
  • For a higher gloss, continue with finer grits in the line.

For modelers who want a smooth to mirror-like surface, especially on glazing and gloss finishes.
