Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of water-slide decal strips in the shade RLM 71 Dunkelgrün. Instead of mixing paint, masking and spraying, it is enough to trim a strip and transfer it onto the model like a decal; a perfectly straight edge and a uniform area of color appear, and once dry all that remains is to coat it over.
RLM 71 Dunkelgrün is the dark green shade of the upper surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft. It is best known from the early splinter scheme, where it alternated on the upper surfaces with the shade RLM 70 Schwarzgrün in sharply bounded geometric fields, the so-called splinter. It was carried by bombers, fighters and reconnaissance aircraft above all between 1938 and 1941, and on some types it lasted considerably longer.
It will be appreciated by builders of German aircraft who have no airbrush or want to avoid masking complicated geometric fields, and by experienced modelers for small corrections. On domed surfaces let the decal settle with a decal softening solution, and the result will then blend with the sprayed surface.
The decal sheet is a stand-alone accessory; the kit and paints are not included in the package.
