It is neither a model nor a kit, but a scenery material. The pack holds very small leaves of maple shape in a summer finish, whose size is according to the name chosen for 28 mm tabletop figures and for 1:72 scale. The weight of the pack is seven grams. The same brand also makes a larger version of the same leaves for 1:35 and 1:32 scales — if you build in a large scale, reach for that one, because the difference in leaf size is clearly apparent in the finished scene. The maker is AK interactive.
The accessory will be appreciated by modelers of small scales and by tabletop gamers who add their own scenery to their bases. The leaves are fixed with thin PVA glue (white glue) thinned with water and a drop of detergent, applied with a dropper — in a small scale it is especially important to work sparingly, because even a slightly overdone amount of leaves enlarges the apparent scale and the scene starts to read as bigger. Build up in stages and always let the previous layer dry. The coloring can be softened with light toning from a greater distance; a heavy overspray sticks the leaves into clumps.
This is a scenery material for dioramas, not a model or a kit. The exact composition, the material of the leaves, their size in millimeters and the number of pieces in the pack are stated on the packaging. Keep small loose material out of the reach of young children.
