The genre character is tuned to the A-1 Skyraider attack aircraft and serves as a decorative addition to aircraft models or as a stand-alone display figure. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit for more experienced modelers.
The A-1 Skyraider was an American piston-engine carrier-based attack aircraft that became famous for its long life and its great armament load even in the age of jets. The figure from the Mascot line follows on from the tradition of genre characters associated with particular aircraft and will serve to bring an aviation display cabinet to life or as a companion for a model of this type.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the figure with acrylics or oils, with careful shading of the face and highlighting of the surfaces. A primer base will make the paint adhere more easily.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
