A model of the Italian sports car Maserati MC20, assembled from plastic bricks. This is the standard edition; the same manufacturer also makes the collector Executive Edition as a separate item, so when choosing, watch which of the two you are ordering. The kit comes from the Polish brand COBI and is assembled with no glue and no painting, as the parts are joined by clipping together.
Maserati presented the MC20 in 2020 as a car with a mid-mounted engine, with which the brand returned to that layout. The body is built on a carbon tub, the doors open upward and the power comes from a Nettuno V6 engine with twin turbochargers of Maserati's own development. From the start the car was conceived as the basis for a road coupe, an open version and racing use, and the low weight and worked-up aerodynamics match that.
Put a more extensive set together section by section and follow the instructions exactly, because a part that is not seated shows up in the later layers as a warped surface. With low sports shapes, check above all the symmetry of both flanks and a clean transition between the hood and the fenders. Lift the finished model with both hands by the chassis, not by the doors or the roof. For display choose a firm shelf out of direct sunlight and remove dust with a soft brush, not with a damp cloth.
The kit is supplied unassembled. Neither glue nor paints are needed for the assembly.
