The package holds two rectangular bases measuring 100x150 mm, cut from MDF, that is from medium density fiberboard. The material is hard and flat and, unlike thin plastic, it does not warp, so a large model stands firmly on it. The laser-cut edges are smooth and ready to be painted straight away. A base is not only a mechanical support: it is the surface on which a figure becomes a finished thing for a display case.
For players and collectors of wargaming figures who need a larger rectangular surface under a vehicle, a monster or a group of models, and for builders of small scenes, for whom a base serves as the foundation of a whole view.
Figures, texturing compound and paints are not included in the package.
