Responsibility details are not available.
A liquid medium for the decoupage technique, that is for transferring paper and textile motifs onto a surface. It does two jobs at once: first it serves as the glue with which the motif is pressed onto the base, then as the covering layer that seals it and unifies it with its surroundings. The version is matte, so the result does not shine and does not shout with a highlight in photographs or in a display case.
On posters, signs, newspapers and other paper oddments in a diorama, on printed paper transferred onto walls and crates, and on textile elements such as pennants and tarpaulins. A matte surface also gets on well with pigments and dry colors, so once dry you can carry on working on the finish over it.
Apply a thin layer to the base with a brush, lay the motif on and force the air bubbles out from the center toward the edges. Once dry, go over the top side with the medium as well, in two layers if need be; let each one dry properly, otherwise the layers will turn white. A thick layer takes a long time to dry and may shrink, and a thin one is always better. Preparation of the base, the drying time and the cleaning of tools are given by the manufacturer on the packaging, so follow those instructions.
Motifs, paper, brushes and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
