A modeling material for imitating moss in a medium shade of green. For dioramas, bases and overgrown corners beside models and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
The medium shade is the most universal of the three mosses: it is not as pronounced as the light green and at the same time it does not darken to black like the darkest variant. On a model and on a diorama it does what paint alone cannot, because besides a shade it adds a fine irregular texture. It is exactly that which gives away at first glance a place the sun rarely reaches and where it is damp for long periods.
Put it where moss would grow in reality too. That is into the joints of paving and masonry, at the feet of posts and fences, on the north sides of trunks and boulders, by gutters and the foundations of buildings, on wooden thresholds, at the edges of streams and puddles and on hardware that has stood in one place for years. A light and a dark shade are in the same line; if you layer them over each other, the growth gains depth and stops looking like a uniform green patch.
Go little by little and keep looking at a photograph of the real subject. Divide the material into small tufts, put them in place with tweezers and fix them with a glue suitable for the material according to the manufacturer's instructions. A continuous carpet over the whole area looks unnatural; moss grows in islands and in places where damp is held. You can even the transition to the surroundings out with lightly applied pigments or a thin coat of paint sprayed from a greater distance.
The model, a base, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
