A set of seven plastic pipettes of medium size for modelers. It is not a paint and not a chemical but a simple and yet indispensable tool for transferring and dosing liquids precisely on the workbench. With a pipette you draw up exactly as much paint or thinner as you need, instead of pouring it straight from the bottle by guesswork.
Guesswork is exactly what destroys precision in your work. When someone thins paint for the airbrush somehow or other straight in the cup, the ratio differs every time and the spraying behaves differently. With a pipette, by contrast, you easily keep to a particular ratio, say three parts paint to one part thinner, and next time you will mix an identical batch. Pipettes also cut down on spills, on soiling the neck of the bottle and on needless waste of paint. They are light and transparent and can be used repeatedly as long as you clean them properly; when working with thicker paints or pigments it is more practical to simply replace one once it has dried, which is why there are seven of them in the package.
For any plastic modeler or figure painter who works with an airbrush or mixes their own shades and wants to keep control of the ratios. A useful little thing for beginners as well, because it makes the first attempts at thinning paint for an airbrush easier.
Safety: use the pipettes exclusively for modeling purposes, never for food. When working with thinners, make sure the space is ventilated and keep them out of the reach of children.
