A marker pen with a soft tip that applies paint directly to the surface of a model. It does away with mixing, thinning and washing a brush, so it suits short work between other steps: on edges, small details, instrument frames or a quick touch-up of a scuffed place. The shade is metallic green, that is a green with a metallic sheen.
Metallic fillings have a pigment heavier than the binder, so shake the marker before work and run the tip in on a piece of scrap plastic until the stroke starts to cover evenly. Only then go to the model. A soft tip follows a curved surface better and leaves a smooth stroke, but it takes only slight pressure; pressing flattens it and the line widens. Work on a clean, degreased surface, in thin strokes and rather in two passes. Close the marker immediately after work, so that the tip does not dry out.
Before you touch a finished coat, try the stroke in a hidden place: the filling may react with the layer beneath it. Before varnishing over it, check on a test piece how the two layers get on. A metallic sheen lasts best if you leave it alone and do not polish it.
