Set of files, Constructo

A set of modeling files from Constructo. It serves for sanding, shaping and cleaning up parts while building wooden ship models and other models. The various file profiles make it possible to work flat surfaces, edges, curves and small hollows and to prepare parts for gluing or for a surface finish. The set is part of the basic equipment of a modeling workshop.

Use

  • Choose the file profile to suit the shape of the surface being worked.
  • File with a steady stroke in one direction and choose the coarseness to suit the material.
  • Finish the surface off with fine abrasive paper after filing.
  • Clean the files of material residue with a brush from time to time.
