Eight shades for Polish ground vehicles: the NATO three, the newer pair from the 2014 regulation, the desert colors of overseas missions and an olive for rear-area vehicles.
Responsibility details are not available.
The line-up is aimed not at a single vehicle but at a whole fleet, and it is put together to cover four different situations in which Polish vehicles appear.
Its core is the three shades of the NATO three-color camouflage: NATO Green (FS34094, equally RAL6031 F9), NATO Brown (FS30051, RAL8027 F9) and NATO Black (FS37030, RAL9021 F9). A large part of the fleet wears this pattern, and the black is used in the younger form as well.
The second layer consists of the pair Greyish Green and Greyish Sand, referring to the production numbers BW400-6031 and BW400-8027. They belong to the regulation introduced in 2014 and appear on Leopard 2A5 tanks, on modernized PT-91s and on Rosomak wheeled armored vehicles.
The third area is the desert. Desert Beige (RAL1001) is the standard color of Rosomaks deployed in Afghan conditions, whereas Sand (FS33531, Middle Stone in American terminology) belongs to vehicles of American origin, that is to the HMMWV and M-ATV.
The last bottle, Yellow Olive (RAL6014), deals with what is often forgotten on models: trucks, trailers and other support vehicles, which stay single-colored even when the combat vehicles are camouflaged.
The set therefore makes it possible to build a whole column, not just one armored vehicle. Anyone building a diorama with several vehicles will appreciate that the shades keep to one palette and do not mix colors from different production ranges.
