The section for adhesives from the modular Modular System Workshop line of the AMMO of Mig Jimenez brand. The individual parts of the line are sold separately and stack into a workplace according to what a modeler uses most often. This one is, according to the name, intended for storing adhesives.

Adhesive is the thing where untidiness costs you fastest

A bottle of thin cement for plastic lying down will tip over before you manage to catch it, and the mark on the bench top or on the model is permanent. Cyanoacrylate glue is even less forgiving: all it takes is for the neck to touch the surface and next time the nozzle is sealed, or the bottle sticks to whatever it was standing on. A reserved place prevents this mechanically, because the bottles stand, the necks point up and nothing touches the top. The second benefit is that you take the glue and put it back with one hand, since with the other you are usually holding the part you are gluing.

Principles worth keeping

• Store the bottles strictly upright and always closed, even between two parts.
• Keep cyanoacrylate glue apart from cement for plastic, as they have completely different uses and behavior.
• Place the section away from where you sand, because dust on a glued surface weakens the joint.
• Do not leave open adhesives within reach of heat and sunlight, and ventilate while working.
