Modular System Workshop - Auxiliary Section

Modular System Workshop - Auxiliary Section

A supplementary section of the modular Modular System Workshop line of the AMMO of Mig Jimenez brand. The line is built so that a modeler buys the individual parts and assembles a workplace from them; the section marked as auxiliary is not dedicated to one group of equipment but fills out the assembly where the specialized parts are not enough.

When it pays off and when it is pointless

It pays off at the moment when you already have the base of the assembly finished and things start to be left over that belong nowhere: tweezers, sanding files, small brushes, offcuts of sections, a piece of wire. These small items usually end up loose on the top, because no specialized section exists for them, and it is precisely they that take up the most area. As a first purchase, on the other hand, it is pointless. Anyone who is only starting to tidy the bench will gain more from a part dedicated to whatever they have most of, typically brushes or paints; without an existing assembly the auxiliary section behaves merely as one more container.

Practical notes

• Give it a clear role, otherwise it turns into a drawer for everything and the overview disappears again.
• Store sharp tools point down or in a protective cover.
• The dimensions and the way it joins other parts of the line are given on the box and by the manufacturer.
• Sort the contents through after every finished model, as small items pile up faster than anything else.

Who it is for

• Modelers who already have parts of this line and are dealing with the leftover equipment.
• Those who have a lot of small accessories with no fixed place.
• Anyone interested in adding to a workplace gradually according to real need.

Tools and consumables are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
