Denki Kaminari is a student of the hero academy and a member of class 1-A. He goes by the hero name Chargebolt and his special ability works with electricity, which he can release into his surroundings. A strong discharge has its price, though: after using it the character briefly loses control of himself and loses his bearings, which is a theme the story uses again and again. In the student group he is one of the sociable and direct characters, and together with his classmates he appears in most of the main story lines.
