MIG Productions Oil and Grease Stain Mixture is a ready-to-use enamel (solvent-based) weathering solution by the manufacturer MIG Productions in a 75 ml package. It creates realistic traces of spilled oil, fuel and grease: darkened running stains around engines, transmissions, tanks and maintenance points. It is thinned and cleaned with mineral spirits (white spirit).

Use

• Apply it with a soft round brush of medium or fine size at the places where fluids leak and spill
• Layer several applications of different intensity for a natural, irregular look to the stains
• Complete the darkened core of a stain with lighter edges blended out to nothing
• Soften the excess and any hard transitions with a brush moistened in mineral spirits
• Apply it onto a dry, ideally matte or semi-gloss base

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles, cars and engines who want faithful traces of oil and grease. It is a solvent-based enamel: do not thin it with water and watch out for base coats that are sensitive to thinner.
